Site requests and correspondence
Our hosting provider may process your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors. Hosting and network providers may process requests in countries outside your own. Actual server logging and retention depend on the deployed hosting configuration.
If you email us, your email provider and ours process your message, address, and any information you include. We use correspondence to respond to requests and corrections. We retain it only for as long as needed for the request and applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell mailing lists or contact messages.
Advertising and cookies
Display advertising is currently disabled. We do not load Google advertising tags or set advertising cookies through the site's ad integration. Advertising and any associated privacy choices will be described here if they are introduced.
For Google's handling of information, see Google’s advertising technologies explanation and partner-site data use. You can also review Google’s ad personalization controls. Browser-level ad controls do not replace choices required on this site.
Analytics and external resources
No optional analytics service is enabled.
Fonts and decorative images are served with the site. Links to external websites are subject to those websites’ policies once you follow them. Affiliate destinations may track referrals after you click a link; see our funding disclosure.
Email subscriptions
Email signup is not enabled. The RSS feed can be read without giving us an email address.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant data protection authority. Contact us to make a request; we may need reasonable information to verify it. We handle requests under the deadlines and exceptions that apply to them.
This publication is intended for a general technical audience and does not solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact us so we can investigate.
We update this notice when the site's actual data practices change.
